We will explore our current exhibition, Seen and Unseen, focusing on translation, how we learn from one another when facing barriers of language and culture, and how art helps us connect. We will hear from local poets, musicians, and story-tellers who will help us imagine ways we might see one another with capacious care when so much remains invisible across difference, without demanding that difference disappear or resolve.
Doors open at 6pm, with time to see the show, find a table and grab a plate as we will have food from the Balkan Treat Box. The program starts at 6:30pm.
Dovetail is free to attend; you can register below.
This event is free thanks to the generous support of our donors and the Missouri Arts Council. If you would like to donate towards our Dovetail program, you can do so by selecting one of the paid options during checkout.
