The Intersect Arts Center is a place of community with creativity at its core. Located in St. Louis City, Intersect engages with area youth, adults, elderly, artists, congregants, educators, and activists to connect art and community, creating a collective expression of identity and belonging between a very diverse intersection of people.
Through after-school programming, community events and classes, exhibitions, artist residencies, and studio facilities, we offer many opportunities for engagement. Our interdisciplinary approach encompasses visual art, dance, drama, music, creative writing, technology, photography, and culinary arts.
The Intersect Arts Center provides studio spaces to 25 working artists in addition to dance, music recording, darkroom, wood-shop, ceramics, metals, printmaking, paper-making, stained glass, and culinary arts studios, a computer lab, and a large garden that grows vegetables, natural dyes, and native wildflowers.
A beautiful 4,000 square foot gallery hosts exhibitions and events.
We also offer a wide variety of educational programming for free. We are excited to be in the Gravois Park neighborhood and look forward to partnering and growing together!
