About the Gallery:

The gallery hosts 3-4 exhibitions a year, and a variety of other events, including our Dovetail series, concerts, piano recitals, dance performances, theater auditions, community group meetings, teaching trainings, etc. The gallery open hours to view the current show happen Tuesday - Saturday, 11am -5pm.

Exhibition Proposals:

We do not currently accept submissions for solo shows, but if you have a two-person or group show concept that you think would fit our space, please email us at intersectstl@gmail.com. Our space can accommodate wall hung work (both framed and unframed) and 3-D works on pedestals. Video, sound, projection, large sculptural work, and installation can also sometimes be accommodated, depending on the limits of our space/equipment. Because our space intersects with many different groups, often including children, we do not accept work with profanity, gore, sexual situations/language, or work that denigrates/discriminates/or makes fun of anyone based on their race, sex, gender expression, class, ethnicity, religion, etc. Work that contains nudity or violence will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine if it is appropriate for our audiences.

Gallery Rental for Events:

If you are interested in hosting an event in our gallery, please fill out the inquiry form below! One of our staff will review your inquiry and reach out about your event date/details.

Our calendar fills quickly, so please reach out at least 4-6 months in advance if you can. We generally do not accommodate events with less than 2 weeks notice.

The gallery is available to rent for events/performances. With movable walls, each show layout is unique, but we can generally seat about 120 people in chairs in rows, or about 60 people seated at tables with space for food/drink tables.

We base our event rental pricing on the size of group using the space and the hourly use of the space. For events that cover multiple days, we may negotiate a flat fee. All rental pricing includes use of our space, our team setting up any tables/chairs needed, plus access to our sound system and drop down screen/projector if you need them. Recital or concert groups may also make use of our baby grand piano on the stage (note the piano cannot be moved off the stage). We offer discounted pricing for non-for-profit groups, and we also offer specific pricing for weddings that is separate from our general rental pricing so please be sure to include that information in the form below so we can make sure to get you the correct pricing sheet.

Every rental is charged a cleaning fee in addition to the rental pricing.
