You’re invited to DOVETAIL: Pilgrimage, an evening of art, faith, food, and music at Intersect Arts Center.
Wednesday, September 16 2026
6–8 PM
Intersect Arts Center is a community arts space created in collaboration with Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Through the creative power of the arts, Intersect brings diverse communities together to engage important ideas.
Join us to explore two exhibitions inspired by the opening of the Nicene Creed:
“We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.”
The evening will also feature live music and a five-course walking menu with drinks, crafted by a local chef in response to the exhibitions.
We’ll begin at Intersect Arts Center with food and a viewing of its fall exhibition, Seen and Unseen. The exhibition explores the Nicene Creed’s claim that God made all things, inviting us to consider carefully what it means for every individual to have seen and unseen dimensions—especially as we encounter stories and histories of migration, and belonging.
We’ll then journey across the street to Holy Cross Lutheran Church for a brief time of visio divina, followed by dessert on the patio and an opportunity to experience Visible | Invisible at Holy Cross’s Mezzo Gallery.
This event is free for WALI conference attendees. If you would like to financially support this event, our art programs, and our mission, you have the option to donate, but donations are not mandatory. Please register by clicking the button below.
