Intro to Wheel Throwing
September 19th, 2026 | 10am - 1pmFor adults interested in learning the art of wheel throwing, this workshop is the perfect introduction. Scheduled on the third Saturday of every month, the Adult Wheel Throwing workshop is designed for beginners or those with little to no experience with the potter’s wheel. Participants will be guided through the basics of wheel throwing, including center techniques, shaping forms, and trimming.
This workshop focuses on hands-on practice and individual attention, ensuring that each participant gets the opportunity to create a functional piece, such as a bowl, mug, or small vase. Instructors will be on hand to provide step-by-step guidance, help with troubleshooting, and demonstrate key techniques for success on the wheel.
